One thing I don't often see mentioned as a benefit of free bus travel is how much it speeds up the bus when they're not having to sell tickets to every passenger

@http_error_418 Very true but I am also old enough to remember when the driver just drove and a conductor came around and collected your fare once you were in your seat.
