🏳️⚧️I guess it makes /some/ difference but it can't protect us against the impact of being hit or run over by tons of steel (a car/ van/ lorry).
Likewise: wearing a helmet.
I wonder if the driver was looking at their mobile phone instead of the road…

If they're not paying attention, or not bothering to look properly, or playing with their phone, then it's pretty useless 😥

I believe it might grab the attention of /some/ drivers. It is much easier not to notice a dark grey/ black/ blue figure on a dark grey road than a bright yellow & reflective spot.
But ofc that's only true for people who are "simply" not paying attention.
Those who are deeply absorbed by their phones don't see anything else.
