Just back from a fantastic skate session at the netball courts. The place was teeming with people on wheels, including three Dads, joining the kids on inline skates, skateboard and bike respectively. I was there with my quads and my little JBL speaker. Another Dad, who was shooting hoops with his daughter, HAD to ask me the name of one of the songs I was grooving to. It was "Love Action" by the Human League. I asked him what year he was born and he said 1984 - 2 years after that song came out.

Normally I like having the place to myself (as in the pic below from December), but today the vibe was communal, a much needed tonic in these fucked up times.
