The next person who responds to me saying our kid is a picky eater with "have you tried offering different foods" is absolutely getting karate chopped in the throat.

No, it's never occurred to me to offer anything else thank you for solving this mystery for me.

@dan I’ve been dealing with this too. She loves … bread. Basically bread. Burgers but mostly for the bread. Doesn’t like pasta even. I’ve tried a bunch of stuff and I’m eager to make anything she’d like. Can’t quite get there. She does love black olives? So. I dunno!
@Gte Hey, I get it, those are tasty choices. It’s also hard because it’s like, is now the time I want to fight with a hangry toddler about why they should like pasta or do I just need them to eat SOME food to, you know, live. I’ll offer things all day, but I know what is and isn’t going to fly and right now the list is frustratingly short.
@dan @Gte yeah but Dan soon you’re going to have two picky eaters so you’ll be able to play them off each other with fun mind games like, “See, they’re eating their dinner!”
@joesteel @Gte Nobody will be able to hear me say that over all the screaming also I'll be screaming too.
@Gte @dan Bread and black olives is a great album name.
@dan perhaps ry could bake some items for your child, possibly on a small baking tray
@matt @dan also known as “one of them shits”
@sageolson @matt everybody (one of them) shits
@matt That’s a good idea. I’m given to understand I wouldn’t regret it.
@dan Better still, “Don’t give him anything else. He will eventually eat.” 🤬
@Linnefaulk Yeah, “he’ll eat when he’s hungry” is hilarious. Have you ever met a toddler? Stubborn on principle.
@dan Then add some autism in the mix. My “boys” are 29 and 27 and still picky. ☹️
@dan I think, THINK, my younger boy is slightly turning a corner at 8. He was on a pretty picky path, then out of nowhere decided he wanted to eat hamburgers because he could make one like SpongeBob. None of it makes sense, just do the best you can. #hug or a #highfive
