Anton ZuikerOur group had a Wed. morning permit to crawl out to Angel’s Landing, but the rains kept us away until late afternoon. We made it up to Scout Lookout with enough time to get back for one of last shuttles down canyon. Oliver was captivated by this cloud on the hike down the steep trail. #zion
R Scott Jones@antonzuiker well darn. But Observation Point is a better view of the canyon anyway (so is Hidden Canyon, but I heard that may have closed).
@rscottjones yes the trail to Observation Point from inside canyon was destroyed by landslide. We contemplated the east rim trail to the point but since we needed to get back to Vegas choose to visit Snow Canyon State Park (which was spectacular as you know).
