Ahimsa@handmade_ghost We get lots of spotted towhees around here. When they happen to be close, and the sun is out, the eyes do look very red, but I never thought of them being demonic! 🤭
FYI, I'm old, so I still think of them as "rufous-sided towhees" (name has been changed) 😊
