@vicfroh
I highly doubt your profile is accurate if you're looking to get sympathy for Hezbollah fighters. Either that or you are terminally stupid.

@rob @vicfroh

How many Hezbollah fighters are 2-year-old children?

@Tuuktuuk @vicfroh
How many Hezbollah fighters will defend gay socialists?

You sound as dumb as the last guy.

@rob @vicfroh

Lebanon is, by Mid-Eastern standard very liberal, and you define Hezbollah as "a Muslim living in Lebanon", so let's say... Maybe about hundred thousand?

Why are you asking?

And also, you forgot to answer the question.
This is a conversation about the Israeli military saying that no Muslims, including 2-year-olds, may be hidden by Christians from the Israeli military. You are defending an ethnic cleansing.

@Tuuktuuk @vicfroh
If Lebanon could govern itself and not have people shelling Israel, then this wouldn't be a problem.

Do you need a geography lesson? Jordan shares the largest border with Israel. And yet they aren't fighting each other. Egypt isn't fearing an incursion and they share a border with Israel.

Lebanon has to manage it's border and STOP THE SHELLING. Since the government hasn't been able to do that, the war has started. And yes, children will be hurt. Because of Hezbollah.

@rob @vicfroh

Why does that make an ethnic cleansing acceptable in your books?

@Tuuktuuk @vicfroh
I can tell you are very pro-Hezbollah and you think they have western liberal values that you admire. And you think Hezbollah is doing good in this world, spreading peace and love and just trying to be friends with Israel.

But some of us - I would say most of us - know that isn't true. And it's shameful - really repugnant - that you would take that view.

@rob @vicfroh

Now you're imagining things.

@Tuuktuuk @vicfroh
Am I? Show me the links where you opposed Hezbollah shelling Israel.

I suspect you weren’t vocal about that at all. It’s a double standard that you have to live with. And it also means that I’m not imagining anything. It means that I’m quite accurate in my assessment.

@rob @vicfroh

I haven't been vocal about the events in Mali, Sudan, or Venezuela. Or Israel. That is correct.

I have several times expressed that I am not okay with Hamas having a clear genocidal intent. And I've also said that their genocidal intent is not made acceptable by their enemy being in process of committing a genocide on them.

Hamas has brought Palestinians into a situation where they have almost zero chances of avoiding being genocided. Hezbollah isn't much different.

@rob @vicfroh

But if indeed Lebanon started actively and efficiently working for a genocide of Israeli people, then yes, I would absolutely be vocal against it.

For you there are situations when a genocide is acceptable. For me there aren't.
