Waiting for my workday to end so I can go to the liquor store like a regular normal person.
I need amaretto.
Technically unrelated, but maybe not, this weekend is full of Cookie Baking.
@onelson that's a good kind of weekend
@Sadsquatch I'm going to perfect this. AND I'm going to make ice cream sandwiches with them once I perfect the sizing to align with grocery store pints. I recently learned you can saw through the pint carton then slip off the carton ring around the ice cream to assemble... very compelling.

@onelson

Cookies with gradually increasing radii introduce a bit of a dilemma: start eating them smallest to largest or largest to smallest?

@Sadsquatch

@onelson

Thinking about this for thirty seconds, I would resolve this dilemma by using rounds sliced off a gallon instead of a pint.

@Sadsquatch

@nyquildotorg @Sadsquatch HOWEVER, I could possibly cut a slice off a gallon carton, then use a biscuit cutter on THAT.

@onelson

I do love how confusing using a biscuit cutter whilst baking cookies might be to UK readers

@Sadsquatch

@onelson

We're gonna need a bigger cookie

@Sadsquatch

@nyquildotorg @onelson we really are. I, personally, require the largest cookie.
@nyquildotorg @onelson ...also I feel like I've noticed some pints that are more cylindrical—some of your fancier gelatos (gelati?), for example. I'll have to do some research next time I sneak into the rich bastard grocery store.

@Sadsquatch

The cylindrical gelatos I'm aware of are clear plastic. I guess you could still slice it even if it's plastic but I'm not sure that's a good idea lol
@onelson

@nyquildotorg @onelson hmm yes this does present Difficulties. I'll have to do some reconnaissance. 🕵️‍♂️
@onelson oh. Oh!! This is an important endeavor and I hope you keep us updated if it's not wildly inconvenient 🙏🍪🍨🍪
