Just did my taxes, yay

Surprisingly I got a pretty big refund. Not sure how because I had no income that took deductions, but it did show up after I entered my 1095-A info so maybe it's against my health insurance premiums?

Also my adjusted gross income last year was only slightly more than I had as a grad student 25 years ago lol

ah yeah my refund amount is very similar to the difference between my "monthly second lowest cost silver plan premium" and my "advance payment of premium tax credit" so basically I was due a much larger tax credit on my health insurance than what I was getting

now I wonder why I didn't get a refund for this last year, but last year I also had a lot more investment income so that probably balanced out
