Probably time I close my Etsy shop... I say as they want me to pay another monthly fee for my listings while I've have zero sales in months.

As everything is digital stuff anyway, I'm sure there are much better options for selling such things. Kofi looked good last time I checked.

I've not been actively working on the project so it's my own fault there are no sales. But continuing to pay a fee at this stage seems pointless.

@hejchristian Ko-fi has been great for me. Totally recommend.

@andycarolan Awesome! thanks ☺️ I'm not ready to get going with it quite yet, but it does look like a great fit for what I'm after.

Does it provide a way to let folks "add to basket" or "checkout" from my own website? or does it only work (or is better suited) to get folks onto the ko-fi page and all the items/checkout handling is done their?

Only other eCommerce platform I'm familiar with is Snipcart - but I don't mind either way tbh, it's not like I could do that with Etsy 😅

@hejchristian It only really works via it’s own platform… it does have a creator kit that contains buttons and brand assets https://more.ko-fi.com/brand-assets

It has a really great discord community too.

@andycarolan Nice, the gifs they supply are so cute 🤩

I did some more digging after asking last night and found this 3rd party option, if I had really wanted to get some integration with my own site.

Not sure I will, but it's pretty neat there is an option.

also they have a way to add a tip-widget:

@hejchristian Nice! Yeah, it’s a pretty versatile platform for creators! Glad to hear that there’s a way to add a widget!
