Gonna hafta say "true" about our current time bringing back many things from the '70s.
That includes -- in the US -- a government lying about a war, a paranoid chief executive, an embarrassment of a cabinet, and corruption that stinks to high heaven.
What's missing?
A good soundtrack.

MatthewToadAgain@Guillotine_Jones @the_etrain What's missing is socialism or even something that could reasonably be called electable center-left mainstream political parties. (Though there is some chance in the UK, if we can dislodge the fascists from first place in the polls)
What's missing is taxation that is actually progressive.
Oh and growth too, if you think that's the be-all-and-end-all; while the 70s had economic crises, the decades of deregulation since have led to only the mirage of growth. See e.g. the financial services crash.
