The Carpentries🚀 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝! Today, 2 April 2026, after many months in the making, the Partnership program officially replaces our previous Membership model. 🎉
The new program has been shaped by feedback from our community on how to improve the previous model. One of the key features of the Partnership program is that it allows institutions to enter into flexible, customisable, Partnership agreements with The Carpentries 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧'𝐬 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬.

The Carpentries Partnership Program is Now Live!
After many months in the making, we are thrilled to announce that The Carpentries Partnership program is finally launching today! This is an exciting outcome of efforts by The Carpentries Core Team and broader community to redesign our former Membership program into a program that is responsive and best meets the needs of our partnering organisations and institutions. Over the coming weeks, we will release a series of blog posts expanding on the value of having a Partnership with The Carpentries. In this blog post we provide an outline of the service offerings that can be included in a Partnership agreement beginning today.
