A 4.6 earthquake is a relatively minor quake because a quake that size seldom causes any significant damage but the suggestions made in the following article to prepare for a quake still are generally good advice.

Generally, during a major quake there is no where to go & it is best to stay at home unless the building is collapsing or there is a fire risk.
So, while there is reason to have a "go bag" handy, staying close to home w/a backup generator & coolers handy in case the power is otherwise the the better thing to do IMO.
One thing not mentioned in the article is that you should know how to turn off the gas &/or water if there is a gas line &/or water line break. It's easy but you need to know how to do it & it's easier to do if you have the right tool to use to do it.
