Okay. But you're not talking about Trump fighting only those left-leaning Sermon-on-the-hill Christians, those who are worshipping that empathic brown-skinned guy who was preaching about kindness and sharing and solidarity? He'll also fight those very same true Christian believers that are now praying there with him and for him?

You know that Norman Vincent Peale was his family pastor and that he learned from Roy Cohn as well, right? He isn't going after Christians, he's using them specifically based on Project 2025, his upbringing and his narcissism. He couldn't care less about them or anyone else but he knows a good, pliant, sycophantic source of storm troopers when he sees one.

Agreed. I doubt that "fight against Christianity" (as a whole) thing. For that, religion is a far too powerful & divisive tool in US society.
But I can totally see this Trumpy far-right "American Christianity" with its perverted "Prosperity Gospel", its omnipresent self-victimisation & obsession with Israel/Armageddon/Rapture to start acting like a state religion and suppress all other, especially more left-leaning, Christian faiths.
Thus my specific question above.
