Alternate censored versions of films are my favourite bonus feature that you can put on a disc
So yeah the UK version famously cuts out all the stuff involving nunchaku, but the instances of the turtles calling the bad guys and each other slurs, that was apparently fine?
Okay it's genuinely hilarious how much the censorship of the final battle turns the end of it into the most anticlimactic thing ever
@DotMaetrix I mean, thats not any different than the original US cut of the movie, they just dont show the nunchaku he uses to catch the spear, it was a weird way to end a movie XD
@DotMaetrix Typical UK.
@ashly no that's the weird thing, the word in question is considered WAY more offensive over here than it's ever been in the states, so it's REALLY unusual to hear it being allowed to slide with so much being cut around it

@DotMaetrix What was the deal with ninja censorship in the 90s?

Like blowing people to bits with guns in Shadow Warrior was okay, but god forbid anyone see a shuriken.

@itsolive Eddache did a good video about it a while back, focusing mainly on the Turtles cartoon in the context of Britain being Like That
