The reason there aren't any #Wind turbines off the #Texas coast is b/c the Texas coast is ground-zero for people working in the #oil industry.
Most of our refineries are close to the Gulf (and the #Houston Ship Channel) turning them into a giant flashing neon "We're stealing your jobs" sign to people who'd rather live in towns where the air smells like rotten eggs (sulfur from refineries) than lose their jobs to #GreenEnergy.
So they "hide" them up North.
