"Indeed, a time is coming,” says YHWH, "when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah" (Jeremiah 31:31).
The Book of #Jeremiah is generally perceived as a rather depressing and distressing book, and for understandable reasons: most of Jeremiah's messages to the Judahites of his day were not pleasant, and his own experiences were grievous and severe.

But Jeremiah did extend #hope to Israel and Judah for a new hope in a new day: God would restore the people to Himself.

He would establish a new #covenant under which the people would have their sins forgiven.

When would God fulfill His promise of a new covenant as given through Jeremiah?
