The Apple II family is the system on which I cut my computing teeth. An entire generation of kids were inspired to “do stuff” with computers because of the Apple II—including yours truly.

@JasonAnthonyGuy I think that generation of us that had to understand how the computer worked, to bend it to our will, greatly influenced the next 40+ years. The upcoming generation will benefit from getting huge amounts done quickly, but we were so lucky to grow up in that tiny window of time.
@timtr Completely agree. And doing it out of pure curiosity, with no expectations other than to build and share and learn.
