Nearly 800,000 acres burned so far in Nebraska; apparently the front lines of the Morrill and Cottonwood fires traveled 70 miles in a day.

The more insidious aspect of this is that it may have “cauterised" the earth which will make recovery challenging.

Unfortunately, this is what they've been voting for — directly or indirectly — for years.
