Doing the thing is way easier than teaching the thing.
Easily double the amount of time you think a project might take.
Even if you think you understand the process, you don't if you can't explain it to someone else.

@gcvsa it's a window peel from a company called Peels of London but sadly I think they have now closed. Really good product if you hate net curtains but like privacy.

@luciledt the little hat was such a happy accident. One of the beginners decided that increasing the stitch count to make a flat circle was not on the cards for her yesterday, and lo, a tiny pixie hat was created. And then another crotcheter decided that a hat suited his chicken better than a comb. Cute, no?
