I don't want to alarm anyone, but my current #KDE setup is very similar to how I used to have my #WindowsVista desktop.

It's so pretty. Also, Vista was the last good version of Windows, it just had a rough start. 7 was just an ugly version of Vista. Don't at me.

@nanu I adored Vista. I even paid the £200 (in 2006 money) to buy the Ultimate edition on launch day. 🤣

@gavin57 blimey. I think XP was the OS on my last personal Windows machine. By the time Vista came out I’d made the move to Mac.

@nanu Yes, I made the switch some time later, skipping 7 entirely.

The self-build desktop was used for tinkering with Ubuntu back then. I had the W8 beta, which they let me use the license key for a full version of W10, but I was pretty much over Windows by then.
