@markmetz Within line of sight of me I have tea packaged in bamboo tubes and stored for use in calabash gourds.

We've been "growing packaging" for thousands of years.

So it's not a "what if' but rather "here's the next step".

Bamboo is such a useful, beautiful, flexible, strong, and fast growing wood. So fast it’s invasive making cultivation and regular use of it sustainable.

@JoBlakely @markmetz Calabash is also very similar in that regard. From a few seeds you can, in a few years, have a large greenhouse just churning out natural packaging in sizes ranging from pill bottle to human.

I am very familiar with them as vessels. It would be good to bring our own containers to pharmacists to avoid all that plastic. They could print the info needed on paper. Even better, they could print it in a readable size font!
