I truly struggle to get excited by the #artemis2 moon mission, but it may be good to know that once in space, the European Service Module provides air, water and propulsion for the mission. So this is a European project as well. Not too many people (even in Europe) have noticed this though. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Service_Module

@bert_hubert Funny I feel the same way. Been somewhat of a space geek all my life, my dad's a space geek too. Got a Lego Saturn V on my desk and all, so this _should_ really excite me.

And yet, somehow: Shrug.

@Tubemeister @bert_hubert I'm similar. I think it's a few things.

1. The drive to go is unclear.
2. The project has been chopped and changed so often, it feels cobbled together, and so not about excellence.
3. That doesn't inspire confidence and I, for one, am fearful something horrific could happen.
4. The inclusion of private space firms in the project, built by billionaires, taints the project.
5. The American Flag is something a lot of people aren't comfortable cheering right now. In the US and out.
