🇺🇦❗️For the first time in 2.5 years, the Russian army has not advanced in Ukraine in a month, - AFP.

In January-March 2026, the Russian army occupied half as much territory as in the same period in 2025. There was no advance of troops at all in March.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the contrary, have launched a counteroffensive since the end of 2025 and have recaptured 319 sq. km in January, 123 sq. km in February and 9 sq. km of territory in March. This is mainly the Dnipropetrovsk region.
