Rima Hassan, a supposedly left-wing French MEP, has tweeted in praise of Kōzō Okamoto, one of the terrorists responsible for the 1972 Lod Airport massacre in which 26 people were killed. She has since been arrested for glorifying terrorism.

Actually it's Far Left-Wing, the Far-Left LFI party, the same that refused to call Hamas a terrorist group.
Don't mix them with all the Left-Wing because there are others that are moderate and condemn terrorism.

Une personne qui fait l'apologie du terrorisme, qui exprime de l'admiration pour un terroriste responsable d'un massacre ayant causé la mort de plus de 40 personnes, est une extrémiste.

Se ranger du côté d'un terroriste fait forcément de cette personne un extrémiste elle aussi.
