So if ya didn't know that Eric André is a Berklee alum and released one of my favorite albums under the name "blarf" in 2019, now ya do.

And he just put up a teaser track for a second album that at least for this track named "What's for dinner" is a um surrealist film score slash symphonic metalcore composition, and you know that now too.

Film Scores for Films That Don’t Exist, by BLARF

8 track album

BLARF

Cease & desist is like "what if you had the kind of panmusical ear that Madlib does where you can hear the cross section of 50 different songs and sounds at once but you a) love slop and chaos and b) were so fucking sarcastic about it you could never keep a straight face,"

like the top comment under "banana" says it best

I love how blarfs music is just good enough to tease at musical genius before intentionally ripping all hopes of it away

like if you listen to a track that is equal parts brazilian jazz, 70's film score theatrics, glitch and bass, and a clown's nightmare, how can you disagree

@jonny uh, no eyes showing—Ai maybe? Brrrr! Can’t bear to click this link…
@cobalt123
Definitely not! Very human
@jonny Ok on your word I will take a look at the link now—thanks!
@cobalt123
It is spooky music and potentially disturbing imagery so listener is advised!!!
@jonny Well I do like classic Marilyn Manson and the movie Natural Born Killers, so I’ll just steel myself. LOL
@jonny Ok listened to about 6 from old album (see I have to say “album” because I’m that old) and ordered the free download oldest album with catchy clown cover and I’ll wait for another Bandcamp Friday to guarantee more of the fee reaches Eric for the new one. I heard soooo many musical phrases and melodies and familiar glitch sounds and even Jimi Hendrix so I find it fascinating. Thanks for this.
@jonny Thanks! Can't wait to check it out 😄
