The Iranian blockade of the Strait of Hormuz has shown how easy it is to for one country to turn geography into a ferocious weapon with devastating global impacts. But if the global energy system were powered primarily by clean energy would a similar war trigger the same levels of disruption?

yet this same Iranian regime has been in power since 1979, and the world already went through this very comparable oil crisis

and all the scientists and evidence and accelerating climate disasters and _everything in front of our eyes_ has told us what we should have been doing for the past 50 years
