On Monday, we get to go to a Met members' only evening for the Raphael exhibit, and I

These works have never been assembled together before, and will undoubtedly not be assembled together again in my lifetime. This is an amazing opportunity and probably worth the entire year's membership cost. It took the museum seven years to organize this exhibit because it involves so many different museums and collections.

I'll report back when I actually see it but I cannot wait.

Like, we throw the phrase "once in a lifetime opportunity" around a lot, but in this case it's literally true. These works will be scattered again at the end of the exhibit and that'll be that for a long time.
