LinkedIn has helped me feel good about not using LinkedIn because the things it constantly wants to tell me about are that everyone is always losing their jobs and/or writing really things about their field that demonstrate that they have nothing to say about their field.

@jik I created a LinkedIn account a LONG time ago.

I connected with an old acquaintance or two.

Then

*tumbleweeds*

I hadn't visited LinkedIn for YEARS

Today I found my password manager still knew the password and I found out it only takes seconds to close an account.

Good riddance.
