Some people say the 2025 remake, Super Star Shooter Classic, got rebranded as Super Score Shooter Classic to avoid a lawsuit from Konami (who own Hudson's old properties, including (Super) Star Soldier), but I think this unrelated game might be the real reason for the retitle:
