The idea that AI makes middle managers obsolete because information can more easily flow between workers and upper management implies career development and coaching can happen without managers.

@carnage4life Also, "middle management" at Twitter was horrifically bad. The company functioned because of front-line managers and an overlay leadership function of senior ICs that collaborated heavily.
