I'm going to tack this onto all the work that I do to *makes hand wiping motion*

@elibtronic
Cf the terms of service of OpenEvidence, "America's Official Medical Knowledge Platform" [what does that even mean?]

The information and tools that we make available through the Services are provided for educational and informational purposes only.... You agree that you will not use the Services with the intention of creating any kind of physician/patient relationship, e.g., to diagnose or treat users.

@nyhan WTF eh. You can just say, don't take me seriously, and that drops all liability. It's like a magic spell.

Here's another interesting disclaimer
@elibtronic
I like how this one appears before the user gets at the content. It's not hidden away in a TOS document that no one reads.
@elibtronic
And it comes up each time you access another LLM summary -- it's not one and done. (I know because I was just surprised to see that there are almost 14k PDF "documents" deposited in Zenodo with a one-sentence "clinical bottom line" and a link out to an LLM summary back on the TRIP website, and I clicked through on a couple.
@nyhan huh, interesting.
