@SnowyCA The STM used plastic seats and it’s not that bad. It doesn’t stick in my personal experience.
They used to have the worst seats where you had hard plastic with another 2-3cm thick hard plastic backrest ending midway through the lower spine.
At least now, those seats do the full lower back, with a “carve out” for the spine.
The best seats: the cushioned ones from the buses dating to the late 1980s.
