I never thought this day would come. Hydro Quebec is providing incentives for Solar panels.

"Hydro-Québec offers financial assistance in the amount of $1,000 per installed kilowatt, up to 40% of the purchase and
installation costs of solar panels when all Program requirements are met."

@AndrewHenry The advantage of government-owned infrastructure. No privately-owned utility in the US (or probably anywhere) would consider this. Our big three electric producers in California are fighting renewables with every captive regulatory agency they own.
