trouble is the rest of us have to abandon that sinking ship and our leaders seem scared of the ensuing responsibility having relied, and hidden behind, for so many decades on the yankee hegmony.
@hindsight very much so, yep, as comfortable as it's been.
it's now important to reassess this new reality that has evolved - even if it's painful. as for europe, it's the only way forward, although i doubt this has already settled in the minds of decision makers.
