Proton built Proton Meet to escape the CLOUD Act.
They built it on CLOUD Act infrastructure.
Their website promises "not even government agencies" can access your calls.
The company routing them hands your call records to the government when asked.

@doingfedtime well this is partly bullshit of course.
proton does protect you from usa looking into your meeting data. Its encrypted to them.
They do not protect you from snooping on meta data.
So its definitely better then usa cloud, where the core data can be accessed. But uts not perfect. Usa may know who you are talking to and when.
