Probably time I close my Etsy shop... I say as they want me to pay another monthly fee for my listings while I've have zero sales in months.

As everything is digital stuff anyway, I'm sure there are much better options for selling such things. Kofi looked good last time I checked.

I've not been actively working on the project so it's my own fault there are no sales. But continuing to pay a fee at this stage seems pointless.

@hejchristian ugh monthly fee for listings just sitting there? Makes me glad I never messed with Etsy 🙄

@jake4480 aha yeah, it's not always the same fee but it's based on when listing expire? I think every 4 months or so - and you needn't have listing auto-renew either but then it's just a pain to keep setting them again (and at that point I'd have to pay anyway)

Between that, it becoming flooded with drop-shipping over handmade, folks flouting the "no copyright material" rule, and now AI slop? I'm like nahhhh, I'm out lol.

@hejchristian rough. Oh yeah I can imagine the fake stuff now. Haven't really messed with it in years.
