Telegram Desktop is rolling out the compulsory AI features with annoying pop-ups. I highly recommend turning off automatic updates everywhere for Telegram.

I've made a feature request for Telegram Desktop to turn off the AI: https://github.com/telegramdesktop/tdesktop/issues/30504

The developer who added the AI button says it's possible they could add an experimental toggle: https://github.com/telegramdesktop/tdesktop/issues/30504#issuecomment-4183507219 Add a 馃憤/鉂わ笍/馃殌 emoji reaction there, to show this would be welcome!

For Telegram Desktop, the last version before AI features were added is 6.6.3, here: https://github.com/telegramdesktop/tdesktop/releases/tag/v6.6.3 (Or 6.6.4 for Linux.)

Here is the direct Telegram feature request on the bug tracker asking for a setting to turn off the AI features on all clients: https://bugs.telegram.org/c/60535

(This would only affect Telegram Desktop, not Telegram on Android or iOS etc.)
