@SecondUniverse after ~4 years on hormones I can confidently say they help, but for me the dysphoria can never be fixed without bottom-surgery

Chest getting fixed was the best experience in my life. My dysphoria went from full 100% to about 2% from the second I was sentient enough to realize I was awake. Next best was name change, that dropped social bullshit a lot. And third hormones were suprisingly good for my mental health as well.
(I got name change as a teen, chest around 30yo, and hormones around there too. It's been a long road.)

Vicky Vagina@SecondUniverse close call between social transitioning and hrt. But in the end I think hrt did more to relief the pain. OTOH it also kind of brought about genital dysphoria.
