@warandpeas this is topical to the US, I think - of the places I've lived and visited (UK, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Canada) the only place I've seen cubicle walls that don't go at least almost to the ceiling (and no more than a couple inches above the floor) was in Toronto airport
