 dynamic ISP pricing
@finn pricing as a service
@finn ✨️ now inspired by Nintendo & Sony ✨️ anyways, what would be benefit of such for both parties?
@tobychee Okay look, that's a really specific use case:

I want to run a private and secure network at certain events. Unlimited uplink via a 5G modem costs me 9,95€/24h and despite popular belief, I'm not a suspiciously wealthy furry giving stuff away for free. So I need to get that cost back in somehow.

Here's how I would do it:
Set up some RADIUS bullshit to log into the network, automatically hand out credentials via a thermal printer hooked to a multi coin acceptor with a "suggested price" calculated dynamically, and Bob's your uncle.
I would still do pay-what-you-want, but suggest a price based on expected users in that timeframe and already covered costs.

Of course, I could also do a simple analog donation box, but I wanted to tinker with coin acceptors for some years now and that would finally give me both reason and deadline so my procrastination complex doesn't freak out.
