A small frameless canvas, a landscape painted in acrylics. It depicts, in bright blues, greens and yellow, a view south over Cardigan Bay, as seen from somewhere north of Aberaeron. The sea is to the right, the land to the left, and there are gulls in the sky. It's my favourite view.

I don't actually know the artist's name!

@MakersHour An oil painting of a concrete building in a meadow full of white flowers under an ominous grey sky. The bottom of the building is covered in graffiti tags, but the upper layers are still clean, though they look a bit worn. On one side, there's a roof terrace with some lush shrubs getting on it. Trough the building looks slightly worn, perhaps even abandoned, it's somehow not creepy or scary. There's a weird post-apocalyptic atmosphere to the picture, but in an all humans are gone sense, not an everyone you meet is dangerous sense.

@MakersHour Q5. Describe as in Alt Text a work by another maker, that is not in your medium. Why did you choose that?

A5. A giclée print framed for wall display showing the coastal hills, grass, flowers, cliffs and ocean near Big Sur, California, originally carved as a polychrome woodblock print in Japanese style and reproduced mechanically via art-print quality inkjet.

I visited Tom Killion's Point Reyes workshop after admiring his work in coffee table art book form, and this was the print we chose to buy. The artist said that he was pleased with the print process and that the larger scale worked well with his very detailed woodblock carving.

A5 this is almost impossible for me to answer. I use so many different mediums I don't even know what I'd say is "not my own medium". And I appreciate that's a cop out nul answer. Sorry.
