Them: Here are four barcodes to scan, to reprogram the scanner.

Me: You do see the conundrum here, right?

Them: Unplug it for a minute, and plug it back in.

Me: Done that already, several times.

Them: Try it again.

Me: *Tried it* Still not working

@deadtom As somebody who's worked with documenting devices that have barcode scanners, I'm thinking you're probably supposed to factory reset the thing before you scan the configuration barcodes
