We're proud to have been a part of #NoKings, which is now the largest single-day protest in American history. We helped people make protest signs thanks to Cliff's Variety, handed out our new voter guide zine, and talked with countless people eager to vote and defend democracy. The energy was extraordinary!

Thanks to #NoKings3 SF organizers @IndivisibleSF and 50501 SF for putting on an amazing fair of organizations ready to turn protest into action.

Want to get a hold of that nifty new voter guide zine of ours?

Pop over to https://lwvsf.org/zine for a free PDF you can download, print, fold, and share! It includes tips on how to print it for free at the SF Public Library and folding instructions.

@lwvsf It looks cool!

One adjustment you might want to make is moving the “Who made this?” callout and its arrow in by an eighth of an inch, because anything within a quarter-inch margin from the edge of the paper might not get printed.

@boredzo Glad you like it! You are so awesome for letting us know it could use a tweak.

Printers are so particular. It should be far enough from the edge that shouldn't happen, but some printers pull paper in such a way things get offset.

We'll change it so it's even further from the edge. Will let you know when it's fixed.

@boredzo We just updated the fixed PDF, and it's now available at https://lwvsf.org/zine

Thanks again!

@lwvsf Thanks! I see the element in question has been moved.

Now there's a new, albeit more minor, issue: I notice the color space has changed to CMYK and the colors have become less colorful. (And it's not just a display issue—I checked the printed version as well.)

RGB is generally fine for home printers, which will do their own conversion better than anything else.

@boredzo Fixed - and thanks again, so good to have IRL field testing! (we're a volunteer-led organization, so moving fast and sometimes breaking things!)

@lwvsf Oh I know how that is.

Thank you!!
