March 30, 2011 – Donald Trump was a vocal proponent of the “birther” myth, claiming Barack Obama was not born in the United States.

In 2011, Trump told Bill O’Reilly, “If you are going to be president of the United States you have to be born in this country. And there is a doubt as to whether or not he was… He doesn’t have a birth certificate. He may have one, but there’s something on that, maybe religion, maybe it says he is a Muslim. I don’t know. Maybe he doesn’t want that. Or he may not have one. But I will tell you this. If he wasn’t born in this country, it’s one of the great scams of all time.”

Re. above

15 years ago, Fox "News" (and other major media) saw fit to give a New York property developer/golf course owner national air time to say:

- I haven't seen the POTUS's birth certificate
- It *may* have something bad on it
- "I don't know"

No facts, no expertise. Total smear job.

Is it any wonder things have gotten this bad?

@TCatInReality @DemocracyMattersALot I haven't seen trump's birth certificate. It may have something bad on it. I don't know.
Btw, about those Epstein files...

Good point. I haven't see Trump's birth certificate too. Many people say it's got something bad. What is he hiding?
