Daniel LakelandSaw in the Carpentries website that @alienghic pointed me to, some software called #OpenRefine which might be something someone like my wife would be interested in. So I go to find a YouTube video about how it works to see if it's pointy clicky enough etc... and find this lovely lady who begins giving a talk with a very notable Scottish accent... then she goes to open her dataset and it's a dataset about Scottish Witches... Well played internet, well played.
