And social media *posting* is down but not necessarily use. Partly, it seems, because some people like scrolling infinite feeds of short-form video drivel?

So 40%+ of social media users either haven't been using social media for over a year or haven't realised that they've seen false or misleading news (because I doubt that nearly half of the public have hyper-optimised feeds with no algorithmic content injected and only friends who never shared misinformation!)
