That sounds like the modern equivalent of those "Easy Music" radio stations playing faked-up "orchestral" instrumental covers of popular hits. I wonder if they screwed the original artists like LLM/AI is doing now.
@AnthonyJK @blogdiva There’s a huge distinction… someone was paid to make those arrangements. Many musicians were hired and paid to play on those recordings (plus engineers, etc). And yes, the rights-holders were paid (yes, one can def argue about the type and level of compensation, and who actually held ‘rights’, but they were paid).
This is just a machine that input real music by real musicians and shat out a simulacrum paying absolutely no one.
