I get the impression people demand from me and every other person to be openly shocked about the current cases of sexual violence that are in the media.

For me nothing changed. I'm not shocked. I'm glad "we're" talking about it.

Having been the victim of sexual violence repeatedly and having spoken to lots of others it was and is pretty clear that all those cases mean there's a bunch of perpetrators out there and that the whole problem is systemic.
