JPeveryone who has worked on and/or invested in blockchain or cryptocurrency over the years bears some measure of responsibility for the current US president getting elected and using it as it was intended: an unregulated shadow economy whose biggest use cases are overwhelmingly ransomware, gambling, and money laundering. any principled justifications you might have had for that are a joke to the small number of totally amoral dudes getting richer off it. they appreciate your work and your $$$.
"but we need a way to move money around without having to go through oppressive governments" - sure ok so why would you trust such obviously purely self-interested criminals in such an enterprise? are you so totally gullible or unprincipled that you find common cause with anyone who says they want a thing you want? this degree of moral-ideological disorientation is going to ruin your life and relationships if it hasn't already.
